Quite surprised to get in as I thought they sold out quickly. I've never actually ridden my cross bike so could be "fun" Is anyone able to give me a lift to Irvine? Why not run with single chain-ring - with no clutched rear mech you would need a chain retainer or bash guard fitted but other than that you should be OK for cheap & practical solution. No need to change the lever. if you are desperate I could think about lending you mine. I never get into the big ring in a cx race.
