Richie Cross
Hope to be there unless the wife has a bad night with the wee man. Haven't turned a pedal in 5 weeks so I'll meet at Johnstone and come back as far as Stewarton and take it from there.

2023 Subscriptions BoydJohnston Posted October 17, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 17, 2015 I'll be there to do the full route, but maybe at my own pace. If anybody else wants to do the run, but is worried about the pace, then I'll be glad of some company. Maybe the faster guys will get the coffees in for us getting to the Blueberry

Paul C
At Miller St. there were 3 (Iain C - on his TT bike!!, Ian H, TT. Thompson) for Largs and 5 (me, Boyd, Gerard, Peter Andy D) for Troon. It was decided that we would all go to Troon. A gorgeous day for a run after the initial chill and a steady pace was maintained. Nice cafe stop at the Blueberry. At Kilwinning on the way back the faster (Largs) 3 went on ahead. I went on past Lochwinnoch (!) and at Kilbarchan took the back roads back to LW to round the mileage up to 70 miles. A lovely day out! 2023 Subscriptions BoydJohnston Posted October 18, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 18, 2015 Great run today - good sized bunch of 8 and a good pace all the way. Big thanks to Paul for organising and for helping me stay with the group, pulling me back a couple of times. Even after letting the group go on after Kilwinning to come home at an easier pace, I still had an average of 16mph for 66.4 miles.
