Anyone with the time and inclination to join me would be welcome, here's a link to a suggested route. 42 miles round trip from Johnstone. 2023 Subscriptions BoydJohnston Posted April 8, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted April 8, 2015 Graham, I would have done this one, but I've got to go to the Victoria for a scan on my aorta - it's a check for aneurysm which apparently they give to all men when they turn 65. The interesting thing is that that's what killed my dad's mother in her mid-fifties. Have a good day and keep posting these mid-week runs - I'll make one one of these days. Thanks to Graham, John S and Martin (mazadada) for the wheels. 47 miles and 3200 feet of climbing in the bank. A good start to building my miles up again. mazadada Posted April 9, 2015 Report Share Posted April 9, 2015 Brilliant day for it boys and good company. Loved the coffee stop at whitelee. Very surprised at the reasonable prices. Will def do this run again. Had to head back to Barrhead after going through it. We couldn't get it any better cycling into the wind and having a lovely tail most of the way home.
