2023 Subscriptions AlanT Posted November 9, 2014 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 9, 2014 Fabulous day out. Finished with 69miles on the clock and really feeling it in my legs. The weather was exceptionally kind and I even felt too warm in my shiny new club jacket. The thing I didn't enjoy was the lack of carrot cake at the BB. It's just not good enough. Mind you, the toffee and banana cake was good, but it's not carrot cake. I hope the new guy, Dave, made it back safely.
Guest EPCC
Nice ride apart from my two flats within the first mile George and Rene are too strong at the moment think they should up there training ( then peak and burst before Xmas ) to give us mortals a chance Diet starting soon 174 pounds is about 14 to many
Paul C
Lovely day for a ride. I endorse Alan's comment about the toffee banana cake, 80 miles in the bag and legs felt fine.

Guest George
Was a good day once we got going-thought billy was going for his 5 punctures in one ride record but he decided to stop at two. Tried to instruct Renny on the no half wheeling rule but was gasping so much that I was probably incoherent. Good wee blast up Bishy hill-a Strava PB for me, which isn't bad considering its November. The BB has gone downhill a bit since the new ownership though-the lady doing the orders is a bit stern. Colin McPhee
2023 Subscriptions Renny Posted November 11, 2014 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 11, 2014 Was a fine day & thanks for the heads up George. My ears are a bit duff but the instructions made it through cheers!
