Scotland Transerv are planning sign erection works on the A737 between Linwood and St James' Interchange on Friday 29 November 2013. Traffic will be diverted via Torr Road, B786, by Hattrick Cottages and vice versa (map of route attached below) Please note there is a low bridge on the diversion route (4.2 metres high) at the junction of Torr Road and Main Street Bridge of Weir. No tall bikes allowed, lol. Wrecked my rear wheel a couple of weeks ago when i was with Chung, Hugh and Foxy. My mate also wrecked a tyre in his car on one recently.. They were reported by myself on 9th Jan. By the 15th Jan the roads inspector had visited the road and instructed a contractor to repair them within 7 working days. I can advise you that we have now carried out temporary repairs to the potholes. I would also add that this section of the road has been proposed for inclusion in the next years Roads Capital Investment Programme.
