al yuille
How about this for a route. Keeps to pretty quiet roads. Misses the tak but too easy from Carron valley side anyway ! Climbs the Crow on the way back. Nice steady climb round the loop as well. 60 miles from bridge to cafe at Clachan of Campsie. Can vary route back to bridge for extra miles. 2023 Subscriptions charlie p Posted October 6, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 6, 2012 Good day on bike today. Myself and Greg set off from bow and met Iain al Kev Kenny and bill t at bridge .At Fintry bill t Greg Kenny and Kev headed up crow road for an early coffee stop at lennoxtown. The rest of us did Als loop which involved taking the carronvalley road then veering off left up a c road towards Stirling. At the top the views were magnificent. Both the Wallace memorial and the forth road bridge were standing proud in the midday sun. The loop took us back to the foot of the crow road and thereafter we stopped at the lennoxtown cafe for much needed sustinence and then we headed home. A lot more miles than I planned but it is not often you get days like this. Thanks to the guys for excellent company and wishing Al a safe trip down under
