Guest EPCC Posted August 14, 2011 Report Share Posted August 14, 2011 Myself and Charlie took part in the 50 + race today with Paul Mac in the over 40. i would have to say it was areally enjoyable race with the higlight being ne and Charlie on either side of the road powering up thornhill and actually leaving people behind great feeling the race was not overly fast but very start stop with a very hard ride on Flanders moss when the wind got up a bit this made the feild sigle up and is also where we missed the break as sitting in single file on a wheel is dificult to see roound which was even harder for me as i looked round to see Charlie in a bunch about 40m up the road big effort to get back on then cat and mouse to the home straight where Mr C blasted up this hill and left me for dead to tie our series at 4 all. great day and learning each time i get out the dark arts of racing.
