Iain M
If any of you seen the tv footage you will realise that there was a crash on lap 1. Claire and 6? other Scots ladies were in this crash and could not re-start. It was a descent on which the women were reaching 50mph and the men 60?. Claire is badly bruised, as when she came to the (blind) bend at the bottom there was a support car which had to stop due to an accident. She hit this and her back hit the car. There were still ladies coming in to the car and each other behind her. Why the support car was there nobody knows? As there was not 1 minute between the breakaway group!
