Crashed at crit. Short story is im fine. Bike is mostly fine apart from a tyre that’s almost Worn through from sliding. Would prefer to get bike checked out before any more riding.  Think everyone is alright. 

In - where is the ferry terminal? Gourock?

I was just lucky all the hitters were away racing or at the etape this weekend!

Still being relatively new to the bunch and fast group riding I am still learning and hope that any transgressions on my part are viewed in that light.

The larger more varied group certainly makes a more steady chain difficult but if it wasn't for the open and inclusive nature of the club/group I would not have come back after being spat out the back at every available opportunity last summer and quite possibly would not have joined the club or been in the position fitness wise to take part this year.

For what its worth, canvassing a view from the visitor that I brought last night he reckoned that the group was, in safety terms exceed only by the northside Scratch group and much safer than the southside bunch.





 

In - Its alright to bring non Club members yes?

Is medium cage the same as long cage?  If so then yes. 

The new rear mech has an additional hanger piece that has to be used.

I’m not sure - I was potentially 3rd wheeler on the hill. I dunno. I don’t know everyone that well, I started pretty far back and was seeing dots by the top. Maybe Alan or Paul would know if I was.

Not tubs but tubeless clinchers. Sealant inside will fix most punctures before they are an issue. I’ve had 2 punctures in 3000km this year and never had to put a tube in.
