  1. I will be there, boasting about how my hangover is worse than everyone else’s, that way I do not need to try too hard on the hills.
  2. May I order a size large please.
  3. Meeting at the clubrooms at 0930 for a ride to somewhere or other and back round with a stop for cake (other food groups available).
  4. This is interesting reading, very much on the pulse. We are a great club with lots going on and this needs to be communicated, it is why we are members. We all love cycling and we are busy people (so many Strava segments) and this will always have people collectively seeking convenience. Right now I use a WhatsApp group to organise my Tuesday runs, it works well. But I have become aware that it is not in the spirit of the club so I will be posting my runs back on the Bunch as well, where all club members can view and participate. I am open to progress in the future, if needed, so let’s have the discussion to find out what people feel they need to get the most from the club.
  5. Amaretto, 0945 for an undulating cycle out to Lochwinnoch and the roads around Barcraigs reservoir to Howwood and back to BoW. I have no plans to be lairy after falling on Friday.
  6. Greenock Road from the Red Smiddy has been closed today, that may affect your plans.
  7. I have the evening off and hope to attend. What time does this start?
  8. Great weather for it today, and a nice sociable bunch. Nice to meet new Dave, Cptn. Dave and Martin, holding back to let his fitness peak for Flanders.
  9. I will pop along for this, the weather is nice tomorrow and it will be a pleasant day.
  10. Glorious autumnal sunshine in stunning Argyll scenery with a campfire, food, drink and the company of your cycling friends. There really is nothing better.
  11. Menu sorted for tomorrow, baking done, bike packed. I will have enough to share. Bring your own coffee cup.
  12. I feel somewhat under pressure. I should be there.
  13. Did it once, got a puncture, 100% fail rate.
  14. Fantastic event well run, with some fantastic times and some quality finish line flag waving on the short climb. I am wondering if I need to start carrying ID now I am a Jet.
  15. I am a maybe, hopefully. Just to make up numbers and have a second look at breakfast.
  16. I fancy the idea of going over the Crow so I will be at the bridge for 0930 if anyone wants to join in. I will be keeping a watch on the weather as the last time I wanted to do the Crow it was really misty.
  17. I am watching this and I will turn up to make up numbers, but only if others post up up for coming too.
  18. The hill climbs are clearly not attractive to many. We should carefully consider any alternative arrangements that would encourage wider participation. I do like the confined events and I try to get to as many as I can. We could make changes to try out different options and see what works. Meanwhile Robbie will be living on a diet of air and nothingness to be ready to take the title agin this year.
  19. Just me so far! I will check again at 1700h for at least another two riders to make it worthwhile.
  20. There does not seem to be the appetite for this tonight. Try again next week.
  21. Should be out for a bit, if the weather is decent enough then over the Crow to Fintry, starting at the bridge at 0930. If the weather is awful then plans may change.
  22. A nice night to be out, not unhappy with my time but a great PB from James and Tommy is finding some form. I have now have £18 to transfer to club funds, that includes last weeks money, I have been busy.
  23. 1000h it is, see you there.
