  1. Another yes from me, I will timekeep if required.
  2. Well done to Richard, amazing achievement. Big thanks to Ian and George for timekeeping and holding up.
  3. I have only myself to blame for both of those embarrassing displays tonight.
  4. The road was shocking, especially at Finlaystone when I went over it on Tuesday so it would good to see how a resurface would improve our times.
  5. I will be there but bothering the leaderboard a bit lower down.
  6. Band of three tonight on a very pleasant evening. A bit tough on the way out but a great tailwind back. Only James and myself have times, Richard did not take a time. No money changed hands. James 24.11 Me 24.22
  7. Anyone else? Only James and myself so far for a self timed run. It is a lovely evening too.
  8. Did somebody say Tuesday! I will pop down and give it a bash. What is the routine again? Ride as fast as possible, bearing as much self inflicted pain as possible then grumble about the result while offering a feeble excuse. Got it.
  9. We have a sub26min Chocolate award as well.
  10. Meet up at Forbes Gardens in Paisley 0930 for a trip to Greenock via the segment of the week. Post if joining us.
  11. A well chosen route with a great bunch. The weather was just right for the whole day, the pace throughout was pretty much spot on. The later cafe stop was not a bad idea, it is always a bit of a chore getting moving again afterwards, but with a familiar road back it was easier to put in the required effort.
  12. Erskine bridge for 0930 for me after careful negotiation for a day pass that makes the Korea meeting look casual. May have to cut it short at Glen Fruin.
  13. Jan The past couple of years there has been a leisurely club run around Arran during the summer and we stop for lunch. I would like to do it again this year as it is a great route and it would lovely if you could be there.
  14. That looks nasty, take care and have a good recovery. Clearly a malicious stretch of road.
  15. Just the three of us on a nice leisurely route. Over Bowfield and then some often unusally smooth surfaced back roads to Dalgarven Mill. It was a damp and cold day and I was glad I did not wear the shorts that I first picked up in the morning. A good 60km as I had aching legs from a long couple of days at work and oddly feel less fatigued afterwards.
  16. I will be at the club rooms for nine, a nice gentle run and cake are what I need.
  17. Amaretto at 1000h for a jaunt over Bowfield, Stewarton and back via Barrhead. Post up if joining us.
  18. Nice idea, let’s get more pictures of the gorgeous people that make up our club.
