A warm and relatively windless evening for four Wheelers to test themselves on the Georgetown Road. Hard out and hard home with all of the effort being turned into speed and some great times. David Cowan 20m 31s Joseph (Jet) 18m 14s pb Scott 17m 14s pb Gerard 16m 31s pb No money was paid.

What has now become my annual Arran excursion, a cycle down to the ferry, round the island and back in the excellent company of fellow Wheelers. Pace will be steady, a good day out for anyone. Meet at the clubrooms for 0800 and the 0945 ferry. Plan is go round anticlockwise and stop at the bike cafe, so post up if coming and we can let them know how many.

Very sad news, he will be sorely missed by many in the Wheelers going by previous posts here. One of our best both on and off the bike.

Thanl you to Richard for timekeeping for us, if you are not riding it is a sure sign it is not going to be a fast night. Hard wind going out and as usual not enough energy left to really let rip on the way back, but lots of good results tonight. Nice to say hello to Katrina again and I am sure a few more Wheelers would do well at the TTs.

A fantastic day out in really fine weather for a nice route down Largs and over Fairlie Moor and back to Largs, then home via Brisbane Glen. A quick visit to Amaretto was most enjoyable. Seemed to be climbing okay today, that will be a one off then.

I will be down for this. Is it still 0900 at the clubrooms?

A big thank you to Ian for giving up his time tonight and officiating. It is always a balancing act when going out with a tailwind, knowing the push required on the way back. Still cannot complain about tonight’s times, a close thing all round.

I may not make it now, it will be last minute before I know.

I plan on being there.
