  1. Good run today. Bunch of 6 - Carol, Dave, Bill T., Graham, Anthony and myself - enjoyed the sunshine as the morning warmed up. Just over 50 miles for myself.
  2. I got a Bryton 100 for £45 from eBay (new). It has Bluetooth and ant+. Added a Bontrager cadence/speed sensor for about £30.
  3. Chung, I'll be along for part of the ride at least - joining you at the bridge 9:30/9:40. I suspect that ride is a bit more than 70 miles.
  4. I'm up for Dave's idea. I'd like to get the longer distance, but the intermediate pace is likely to be just a bit too strong for me. I'll aim to be at Miller St for a 9:15 start.
  5. Got mine from these guys - http://www.rxsport.co.uk/- they're pretty good and you get the option to try out some frames before committing.
  6. Can't make it, unfortunately - got family staying over, so did a big run today. I'll be in Ireland next week doing the Tour of Sligo, so hope to see you all in a couple of weeks. Enjoy the run tomorrow.
  7. Great idea. Unfortunately we'll be returning the grandaughter to captivity her parents on Sunday, so the best I can do will be a short, local run. Hope you get good weather.
  8. Good run and a welcome break from the grandkids. Thanks to Carol and Dave for organising.
  9. I expect to be out in the morning. Just back from a week in the Lake District with the grandkids, so a good run will be welcome.
  10. I'll not be out - in the Lake District for a week from Saturday.
  11. Well done, guys. Tough conditions. Good to see Bill out again. I'm a wimp - don't like wind and rain (or taking flak for leaving the wife alone with two grandchildren) - but I did do 55+ miles today to make up for missing yesterday.
  12. Don't feel quite so bad now it's raining.
  13. Not going to make it now - babysitting.
  14. I'll try not to sleep in and join you at 09:30.
  15. For Sale : Chainset, Saddle, Seatpost - original equipment from Focus Cayo - < 250 miles Chainset : Shimano RS500, 11s, 52/36, 170mm cranks (will work fine on 10s) : £40 Saddle : Focus Concept : £20 Seatpost : Focus Concept - 27.2mm, alloy : £20 £75 for everything.
  16. I'll probably try for the 45-miler - weather permitting.
  17. George, Missed your update and turned up anyway. Fortunately Drew had seen my update and was able to hang on long enough to do the fit. Many thanks to Drew.

  19. Can we go with 27th/28th of February, if you can just put your name next to your preferred time slot and re post. 20. Hoping to make this one. It will have to be slow and steady as my mileage is not what it should be,, but it will be good to be out with some company again.
  21. Weather permitting, I'll be there trying to hang on to the back of the slow group.
