    Now that I am doing the ride, I am staying at the yha Grasmere. Does anyone want to share a lift I don't mind driving or getting a lift. iain

    First club run of the year, thanks to mr mcginty for his patience, well until a mountain bike beat him up the old Largs road, his ego got a bit of a bashing. I think the panniers were the last straw.

    Good run weather not to bad, lasted to the bridge , so quite happy. Bill and Ben managed to scramble a prize giving together. We'll done to all trophy winners.

    Cycled round with Michael as I thought there was no 9.45, glad I went at my own pace , not very fit at all.as noted the weather was a bit cold and snowey.

    swithered whether to go or not , enjoyed the ride got to Castle semple and decided that was all i had and went home.

    rough road surface, only tt you will start in the wee ring,starts with about a mile steep climb then undulates. lots of pot holes. Worth doing though.
