  1. Gerard. Just read your post today and that looks a good meet up point. We have never been here but there will probably be plenty of space for bikes rather than a High Street cafe. Dave & Carol
  2. Five on this run today. Bill T. Karen, Peter, Dave & Carol. Track to B of Weir, Houston, West Glen, Kilmacolm and then up Phils Folly into a very strong headwind. Some sleet and hailstanes at the top but never lasted and sun came out. Strong headwind down Johnshill and then into Castle Semple for coffee and chocolate.Met Carols brother Robert in the cafe and then headed back along the track with a tailwind. Just over 30miles but felt like more with the headwind. Thanks for the company on what was a character building run. Dave
  3. Karen, we were thinking of a shortish run if it stays dry tomorrow morning to Houston, West Glen over to Kilmacolm, Phils Folly to Lochwinnoch for cafe stop at Castle Semple. Options back from there. Could we make it a 9.30am start at the clubrooms as clocks go forward tonight and we lose an hour ? Others welcome. Carol & Dave
  4. Met Paul & Boyd at clubrooms and set off down the track where we picked up John near Kilbarchan. Continued on the posted route, with John taking a detour home to collect money for the coffee stop. Reached the Dairy and refuelled with soup, scones and cakes with tea in china cups. Headed home via Dunlop Lugton Bowfield in glorious sunshine and no wind. A great day to be out on the bike and thanks for the company guys. Carol & Dave
