Paul C got a reaction from Ian Holms in Arran 22 July
I'll be at Castle Semple loch carpark 08:20 to meet those cycling from the club.
I aim to catch the return ferry at 16:40 so not bothered about the pub stop.
At the moment forecast showing wind ENE so that will help us on our way to Ardrossan.

Paul C got a reaction from GrahamF in Sunday 2nd July - Glen Fruin via Helensburgh
A good run today with Ian H, Graham, Peter, Karen, Andy, Mia (refugee from cancelled 30 milers run) and me.
Only serious rain was about 15 mins between Old Kilpatrick and Dumbarton.
Café stop at Balloch was welcome after 50 miles (for me). Need to find something sooner next time.
A new café has opened at Rhu marina - might give that a try one day.
Peter and Karen bade farewell to me at Inchinan turnoff and then I had 11 mile hard solo slog into the wind to LW.
Got a bit damp again cos rained from Kilbarchan to LW!!! 78 miles on the clock - longest ride this year.
Thanks to all participants!

Paul C got a reaction from RyanF in Blueberry cafe Troon Sunday 18/6
Yes a very brisk return ride! The fast bunchers (6) took over this intermediate run which elevated my average speed to 17. Still an enjoyable ride to Troon.

I'll be there - one of my favourite runs!
Blueberry stops serving hot rolls at 11:30.
However, Betsy's next door (see photos) serves a magnificant scrambled egg roll and I have been going there lately.

Paul C reacted to Ross R in Caledonia Etape
Myself, Kaz H, Jaki Robson, Joe Murray and Glen Irving rode the Etape today in club colours and a time of 4 hours 38mins. Cracking route well signposted, weather was ok bit dull but we had a great day. Good company, good fun and really enjoyed it. (Would add a picture but can't seem to do this)

Paul C reacted to Ian Holms in Sunday 21st May - Eglington Country Park
Really horrible weather this morning but the JWCC intermediates made the best of the day.
Reached Stewarton cafe in the rain and we all enjoyed a bit of food and a hot drink before our return home.
Bunch split at Lochwinnoch and I met Paul Mcdonald strolling along in the rain with a good looking bird !
Thanks again Paul ( bronzed silky thighs !! ) for an enjoyable day out.

Paul C reacted to Dave C in Sunday 21st May - Eglington Country Park
Thanks for the run Paul, and correct decision to cut it short but I actually quite enjoyed it, although not a day for hanging about and luckily no punctures etc. Had to check the calendar when we got home that it is nearly June. Bet your glad you came to Scotland 35yrs ago for this weather. Thanks to the rest for company and chat in coffee stop.
Cheers
Dave & Carol
