Will be a 6 week delay due to current circumstances but may b longer as I seem to have broken the end of the collar bone which I am told is a more difficult place to knit back together. So advice from drs Thomson and McLean would be appreciated and in return I will help u keep your licence if u get done for speeding

Duncan and I were at the refurbished Commie pool in embra for the New Year's Day Triathlon.
 
Yes, the year was only 12 hours old, the party goers were still staggering home through Holyrood but Duncan, me and three hundred others were smashing it for 400m in the pool, three times round Arthur's Seat by bike and once on foot.
 
Cool, damp but sunny.
 
Nice big crowd of hungover passers by and the come on daddy brigade lurked by the bottom roundabout to wince at my TT bike handling skills on the 180 deg roundabout turn. I stayed upright, others didn't.
 
Anyway got a PB, a sixth overall and second vet but was given the sympathy prize for 1st vet cos the guy that beat me was 2nd overall. I just love the one prize per person rule.
 
So, who's next? Track league on 9th?

Iain, Kay and I met at the clubrooms and we had a great run out Now, let me see, where did we go...?
Clubhouse; track to Glengarnock; Barmill; a circular route to Dunlop; coffee stop at a farm tea room near Stewarton (very nice!); back road to Uplawmoor; Caldwell Braes/High Barr Road( steep!); Peesweep; downhill to Johnstone/Elderslie; home.
 
A cold day but fabulous weather and great views of Arran and Goat Fell (snow covered), Ailsa Craig to the west, Tinto to the south , and Ben Lomond/mountains ranges to the north.

Hi im thinking of going over the Erskine Bridge along Dumbarton Rd with a coffe stop in Glasgow's only cycle cafe over the Squinty Bridge past S G Hospital into Renfrew and home . This is mostly an URBAN run and thats why i've posted it this way if interested please post below if not i will head out myself if its not pouring 09.30 clubrooms or duvet

The clubrooms are functional. Some water damage to the ceiling and wallpaper of the ladies but still functional.
 
We'll need a decorating team at the end of November

I don't have any keys but was planing to go on Thursday night
The maybe bit is that the roof needs some work done hopefully we will be able to use club rooms during the work
So will anybody open for Tuesday night
