Greg can give you and bike lift to start. Clydesdale Bank 6.30pm. Not done time trial before so don't know where start is but sure I can find a builders yard near a petrol station on the a736 nr uplawmoor. As i enter A736 from Caldwell Golf Club I presume I turn right and will find start. If not home for wine Cheers Charlie

Next time I will stay at home Had my porridge and up for sunny 60. Puncture at clubhouse followed by further puncture 200 yards into ride. Forgot to check tyre after first puncture dipstick. Got spare tube from Billy but burst valve when removing pump. Hope Billy caught up with bunch and thanks for help. Phoned wife got spare wheel and set off 50mins later. Got lift to Garnock thought saw bunch so followed. Never saw them again. Ended up in Kilwinning Saltcoats then coast road to Largs. Had sandwich on my Jack Jones then headed up hill to Kilbirnie then home. At least it stayed dry
