Anyone got a towbar bike rack kicking about in their garage they would like to sell before I buy one? Or possibly swap for a rear mount carrier which holds 3 bikes.

Thanks to Frank for timekeeping, Chung for his directions and to all who were out on the course looking for me, unfortunately I was not on the course! At the point when I realised I was not on the course (Paisley) I should have turned and came straight back but I thought I would add in some extra hill climbing over some back roads. Looking forward to the next event!

I might be able to timekeep although would like a shot at this although I will be on my commute bike. Anyone got a stopwatch?

I was in Johnstone this afternoon and had a quick look at track while sitting at lights at Morrison, could only see a small strip of tarmac along the middle of the path.

Frank you might need a plan B track still didn't look rideable today.

Anyone completed this event before? Considering having a bash at this but not sure whether to go for the sprint even which is 20km hilly road course or the novice which is 5km mountain bike.

Kenny Can't see any part number but the rear mech is a tiagra. The current cassette is an HG50 with the smallest cog a 12. Budget is cheap as possible, can get new one for £40.
