  1. Should know this, but I don't. Where are they pls?
  2. Can I advertise to a few of the jets?
  3. You sure the bike is covered? I have an RBoS account with travel insurance but it specifically excludes bikes. Might need to change my bank! Had to get cover from yellow jersey to take the bianchi to France. They do have an option that covers you for racing and sportif riding btw.
  4. Thoroughly enjoyed today's run, good to be wheeling about for a wee while too. And on that point, must say thanks to all the main bunchers for letting me sit in earlier in the year while I looked for a pair of legs :-) enjoy your Pyrenean adventure all.
  5. You'll know this already if you're on Facebook, but just to keep everyone in the picture. Huge win for oor Lusia today, wholly justifying her selection to the GB Team for world championships next month. Reward for dedication: her's and Kenny's. Chuffed to bits for the whole family.
  6. Away for a couple of weeks. See you all in August.
  7. Hi all, Now I've taken up the bike I now fancy taking it to France with me. My current house insurance policy doesn't cover that. Does anyone know of an insurance company that will cover me for just a couple of weeks? Cheers for help, Mul
  8. Tbh that's probably the most important criteria for me. Don't want to be fumbling in my jersey pocket for my specs all the time. All good advice, thanks chaps. Alan McLean, I could always test your new wahoo for you when I go on holiday if you like?
  9. Dinosaur considering going digital here, but there are so many Garmin devices to choose from. Don't have power cranks or pedals or such, so which one should I buy?
  10. Indeed. If only Alan McLean had given us accurate route info lol :-) fabulous run. Cheers to all the wheels
  11. So much for our shortcut. Comparing Ian's Strava to yours shows only about 5km in it :-0
  12. Will ask Ian Dooley if I can test ride this for the day.
  13. Caught! I had hooked up with Tommy Banks and a number of the Ivy's more senior members at Lochwinnoch. Fine blether and a good warm down at the same time.
  14. Hi Gerard, are we ok to invite jets and parent/guardians along? I promise to shout at them and keep the pace steady.
  15. will join for first half of trip - planning to ride as far as dalry (2nd time of visiting, in case you are wondering).
  16. Glen, Will be at the funeral.
  17. Wave to us over in Millport for the 10
  18. You boys did well getting me that far. And to be fair to Charlie h/although we had some unscheduled twists and turns he didn't quite take us to Fail
  19. I'm still up for the struggle. Can carry 4 others and their bikes.
  20. And Macs Bar opposite the castle has the big bopper on the jukebox and a pool table. You know you want to.
