Usual route is 65 miles from just south of Ayr with 6 significant climbs. Steady between climbs, go hard on climbs if you wish. 0830 start, the start point is a 50 min drive from Johnstone. Excellent morning of hills, the pace was more 'interesting' than normal. I turned off after 50 miles officially due to a mechanical issue but actually due to shredded wheat legs.
