DavieB Posted December 8, 2013 Report Share Posted December 8, 2013 Yes was there, weather was good and stayed dry for vets race. Good course with not too much mud plugging rather more in the favour of woodland and trail with the arena section being a grassy switchback with some transitions which then dropped into a fairly flat out blast. As for race my objective was not to get lapped - talk about setting the bar high - and was not far off it at the end. Pace through the first 4 laps would I believe have made my target but just don't have the legs to maintain it. Much better technically today and pretty much hit my lines all the way through which was good. No mechanicals and no falls either.
