Scott D
Do you have a recipe for homemade cycling food.. something to put in the back pocket during a long ride that beats an energy bar? I'll upload some of my favourites (flapjack recipes that can be cooked quickly in the microwave) when I find them again. But meanwhile here is a review for a new book I noticed. http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/feed-zone-portables-just-in-37344/ Scott
Life Members chung Posted May 16, 2013 Life Members Report Share Posted May 16, 2013 Greetings Scott, I was ready that article just this morning! The food looks great, I wouldn't mind eating them off the bike as well. Are you back from Majorca yet? I'm constantly reminiscing the good rides in Majorca Take Care Scott & hope to see you soon! Guest GEORGE DONNELLY
Agree with Martin & Billy. All this new fangled energy food is for Jessie's. Fish supper, 3 fritters & two buttered rolls from the hippy chippy for me. Washed down with a bottle of cream soda. Cadel Evans swears by it* *Lies. LenMcD
Soreen. Pound for a whole loaf. No cooking. Sticks to the teeth though. You end up looking like you've lost your banjo. Tiddle-ing-ting-ting!
Guest GEORGE DONNELLY
Len, spot on! That Soreen is my dish du jour. totally yummy & great source of energy. Did look like cotton eye joe after eating it tho
LenMcD
Even cheaper in B&M. 79p or thereabouts. Much yumminess. Sticks to the glove as well so no chance of dropping it when eating on the move. Not great for that nice white bar tape though. Richard
