2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted October 20, 2012 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted October 20, 2012 Ok my favourite subject right now, I really enjoy these wee projects, Dolan 52cm pre cursa frame (aesthetics exceeded my expectation need to see how it rides) included seat pin and headset from Alpina and fork bung which required significant persuasion (reshaping with pliers and hammer), came with a very long steerer now cut down by about 6" Planet X type A tub wheelset Conti sprinter tubs and tub tape, 21mm tubs, Chainset and bb combo from Ribble, can't remember brand, with Shimano compatible external bearings (so I had the tool), 48 chainring 170mm, Sprocket 14 tooth 1/8th chain to suit chainset and sprocket Pista track bars from Ribble, can't remember brand right now! 42cm width same as road bike, Stem from my road race bike to I see how the length works out, 110mm, Saddle from my road bike Drop from saddle to bars 8.5cm same as road bike, I had some spacers kicking around, left a bit each way in case I need to raise or lower bars, And of course Time pedals from my road bike Goddam beautiful canny wait to hurt myself on it Cost £510, you only live once, Think that about covers it Oh and it's a lovely powder black in case I didn't mention that !
