2023 Subscriptions Gummers Posted May 13, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted May 13, 2012 So whilst most of the main bunch are cycling sunnier climbs in Italia I was wondering if anybody who's staying back to keep the home fires burning fancies a run on Sunday morning? It'd be nice to get some decent miles in and any suggestions welcome???
Members Richard
Well, you say "sunnier", Andy, but the current forecast for next Sunday in Cesenatico is thunderstorms and two hours of rain. (Thread hijack to follow. Sorry, Andy.) The current forecast for the week is pretty good. Showers some days; temperatures way over 20 degrees. However, I've been watching the forecast all week and it has changed substantially and often. When I first looked on Monday, we were in for a week of rain. This seems to support what Paul C said about the weather being quite unpredictable in May. All I'm saying is I think it would be prudent to pack more than short-sleeved jerseys and shorts. Fingers crossed, though.
