slowalan
Good bunch of around 20 set of over the Erskine bridge and an urban route along Dumbarton road towards the city centre. Cafe stop was McDonalds with scenic views over Finniston. Then crossed picturesque burn - the Clyde - then westwards through sunny Govan admiring the autuminal trees and abundant wild life before Renfrew and the Georgetown Road and back to Johnstone. Lots of fun but would prefer going to the West next outing. Alan
John Malcolm
Hi all Please lets learn from this. Urban routes that are shared with buses is not good. Need to practice good discipline as a bunch. Need to up the pace. Not a great run but lets move on and use the numerous routes available in Renfrewshire and Ayrshire. Let us remember safety for ourselves and others but above all enjoy the bike and have a laugh. So lets go for a great run next time. We have a lot to offer Thanks for the company John

GreigS
todays run was a mixed bag to say the least only expected about half a dozen to turn up but more the 3x that did wasnt the best of routes but cant please everyone all the time didnt think the pace was too slow but maby we couldve picked it up a little but we had 2 newbies out on their first club run and didnt want to push them too hard i agree we do need help in organising ourselves whilst riding in a large bunch maby someone can step forward and show us the way another thing was it seemed that the same people were riding at the front without getting a break this doesnt normally happen so what went wrong today some people take stage fright ? anyway well done to harry and susan on their first outing it does get better honest and hope todays events didnt put a dampner on your day all that said there was no accidents and we all got home safely so thanks for the company and see you next time greig
