2023 Subscriptions martin Posted March 13, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted March 13, 2011 Fine run today guys, thanks very much. The snow cleared and we even saw dry roads and sunshine in Seamill. Alan McLean and I had a wee detour to see young Josh home to Barrhead. Fantastic ride from the young man. Our route here: http://bikeroutetoaster.com/Course.aspx?course=215983 Cheers M

Committee Alan McLean Posted March 13, 2011 Committee Report Share Posted March 13, 2011 Well done Josh. 130k plus the ride to the clubrooms Today's coaching point for all: I suggest the bunch takes more than a bag of Haribo and a jam sandwich for 11 riders. 2023 Subscriptions Tom Hill Posted March 13, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted March 13, 2011 Enjoyed the ride today, especially after yesterday's weather. 74 miles so less than last week but more hill climbing, which I am told will come in handy in Belgium! maccaroth
Thanks to James for feeding me up on chocolate and muesli bars after I bonked. I'll pay you back at some point. Enjoyed the run back to Bishopton which made it up to 74 miles altogether. Colin
Richie Cross
Another great day, different route. Met up with Mark and we headed along the cycle path which we found was covered in snow and slush. Had a quick chat with Brian at the clubrooms but when no-one else turned up we headed off on a 65mile route that took us down to Troon. Mark said his legs were heavy at the start but I felt really bad for the last 10 miles or so. Hadn't eaten enough!!! Good run except I had a bit of knee pain afterwards
