Cheers billy. Looking forward to this, hopefully a beautiful spring day.
Usual rules, bring your own food, regroup at top of hills etc. Could stop at Arrochar for a little food and coffee then more food again at ferry port as there is a small cafe there. Good long miles and some tough climbs for the guys doing the Fred.
Amazing club runs, Renfrew bunch, sewing bee and chain gang...plenty of fun stuff to do on the bike without killing yourself in the ruff and tumble of road racing or track league, so Head up and speedy recovery, you'll be back out on the bike in no time.
Cheers for the wheels guys..coldest hands and feet have been in a long time, struggling big time with bike cleaning duties. Great effort by Greg considering how little he's bn out on the bike..
Great to see you post up Marc, unfortunately I am homeless (so at the moment don't know if I'm coming or going), minus my TT bike, probably not fit enough and would also like to do the Don Smith. These are my excuses but once I'm sorted with somewhere to live and I get my bike back, i hope to join you in RRs and TTs.
Yeah totally ice free ride on a beautiful day to be going over Loch thom and still managed to come off, in awe of the scenery and in full conversation with Ian when my front wheel went from under me on a cattle grid, nearly taking out Ian and sending him into a bog. Sprained my wrist but more embarrassed than anything, that'll teach me to concentrate in future. Cheers for the buffer Ian and cheers to coutie for the help with my puncture as would never of got tyre off with my injured wrist
Yip Greg...9.30 at club house for run to gt Rd, smiddy, Bishopton, greenock fire station left over old Largs Rd down to bagel basket, easy pace... if you fancy something else that's no worries, I'll tag along with you
