  3. Yes good run today with good company and found new smooth tarmac on lots of the back roads. Also good de-tour suggested by David to Dunlop Dairy. Carol & David

  7. Thanks to Paul for the route today and the rest for the company especially Paul L for pacing us up the Crow, a first for me. Longest run of the year so far and legs turned to jelly along Georgetown Road which seemed to have lengthened to about 10miles. Dave. PS Really need to get my own profile.

  11. Thanks Paul for the run to-day as Paul said 9 of us left Miller street then 6 of us branched off at Helensburgh, Myself David, Boyde and newbies Alan, Scott and Sam went up Sinclair street. We had a cafe stop at Lomond Shores which served fab empire biscuits and scones. Also just home in time before the rain well timed. 55 miles Carol & David
  12. Hi Sandra That's a shame but I think nearly everyone falls off at first with cleats you will get use to them, as Mark said adjust the tension. I have my tension as slack as possible. Anyway hope you and Chris had a good cycle and your not too sore. Carol

How about going through Houston via track and Crosslee road then West glen road which is hilly and then dropping into Kilmacolm. then back to Bridge of Weir via Torr road and if we want to stop at Amaretto cafe we could or carry on to Houston and go into Houston Inn Roughly about 20 miles just an idea but if anyone else has another route that's fine.   19. Hi sorry I won't make this tonight sore hip after circuits last night and too much of a rush for David as he is working a bit later. Good luck to anyone who is doing it or maybe it will be rescheduled as don't think many people can make it. Carol
  20. Yes nice run today good company and good to see newbies Sandra and Chris out. Enjoyed two groups leaving together and cycling a good part of the way also enjoyed Dunlop Dairy cafe stop lovely scones. Carol
