  4. Well done to all who participated today, it was good to see a good turnout, including so many Jets. It seems every group went a different way, avoiding various ice and roadwork risks. Thanks to those who provided supplies for the club room afterwards, and particularly to Susan for the soup! Looking forward to seeing an even better turnout next week......
  5. I don't see any volunteers to stay behind and heat the soup, so it looks like first group back gets the stove on. Please remember to bring keys if you have them!
  6. Weather permitting I'll be in the 9:30 bunch, and will bring some baking.
  7. With the confined events calendar still to be finalised for the year, here are the dates for the Reliability Runs. 9. I'm thinking of a trip to Largs, perhaps via Fairlie Moor if the weather stays favourable. 9:30 Miller St. If no-one posts I'll try and keep up with the main bunch!
  10. Hi James, I'm being a bit slow in responding to this one - I was thinking I had a birthday party that weekend, but on checking the diary it's the previous weekend!! I see there are currently only 6 people signed up for it, and the scenery up there is spectacular. Are you thinking of driving up in the morning? If you can promise weather like today I'd be keen to do it if I can....... Graham.
  11. Sorry I missed you, I was late getting to Miller St due to frost, but it looks like you had a good run.
  12. Hi Ken, I plan to be out again this week - enjoyed last week, it was 50 miles for me by the time I got back home! Graham.
  13. Robbo, I usually go out with the intermediates but have not been out for a few weeks so plan to go with the 30 milers this week, you would be welcome to come along with them if no one else posts for the intermediates. Graham.
  14. I'll come along on this one, not been out for a few weeks so will see how I get on! Graham

  16. I intend to give the hill climb a go, but then so for a gentle run afterwards, probably to include a cafe stop for refuelling! Distance and speed will depend on the day, but company would be welcome.
  17. I'm planning to give it a go, and to go for a ride afterwards, distance depending on the weather but cafe stop likely and company welcome!
  18. Sorry to see you go Greig, you were instrumental in my getting started with the club, and it has always been good to catch up with yourself and Elaine. Wishing you both all the best for the future - and hope that might a few trips out on a bike!
  19. I'll give it a go this week!
  20. Eight of us set off towards Stewarton: Mia, Boyd, Paul L, John S, Andrew D, Ken, James Mck and myself. Ken and James left us after Stewarton, leaving 6 of us to head down to Troon at a swift pace into a light wind. After a coffee stop at Blueberry's sitting out in the sun we headed back via Kilwinning and the cycle track, with a cracking pace up the cycle track in the afternoon sun. About 60 round trip from the club rooms. A great day out on a lovely day with good company!

    Spied a Wheeler

I was chaising down Mia on the way to Miller St. for 0900. Mia might wish she qualified to be a Jet, but I think that was a few years ago!
