  1. Good night and some points at last !
  2. Bad legs for me tonight did a fair bit of wheel sucking I'm afraid but felt ok by Kilmalcolm. Good sized group tonight jann fairly laying the power down on the front and on the climb chapeau. Nearly managed a third on the 1st sprint but just didn't quite have the legs. Hope to find some form at some point before the seasons out !
  3. Reminder in the clubrooms this Friday at 7 PM for a fun free night of recipes and talk on all aspects of cycling nutrition. See you there

Paul - Sorry but I'm gonna have to take a rain check on this at this stage. Have a persistent issue with rear hub and I'm waiting for a replacement and don't feel well enough prepared yet for the double which I would like to achieve perhaps later on the season. Also birthdays etc this weekend so I've not entered the May Day gallop this weekend either. Best of luck
  8. Yea Cedric was there, making a few darting accelerations clearly a potential race prospect. He returned after fintry as jann and Paul had 100 miles in the legs after yesterday. Darryl James Eric and myself enjoyed a glorious tailwind along Carron valley before a single line through and off from Lennox town back to strathnlane 70 odd miles in the bank/ Well done jann and Paul making it out after yesterday !
  9. Darryl was thinking Bridge Duntocher Killearn Fintry Milton of Campsie Strathblane Milngavie home about 60 70 miles ? See you 9 30

  11. Night on Friday now so Saturday not for me !
  12. Apologies guys was running late so made an attempt at the segment of the week then joined a f w bodies from Renfrew bunch instead 🚗
  13. Any more for this delightful saunter among the Kilsyth hills ? Happy to meet James and Darryl at bridge. Weather looks ok for Sunday. Jann are u up for it ?
  14. Don't want to mess up the schedule but unless more takers will prob head out on Saturday instead as a better day for me this weekend
  15. Hi Paul my suggestion from what you are saying would be to take off any battery covers and leave them off overnight in a warm environment or use a hairdryer to get rid of any moisture which may have crept in to your components. If there is a battery for the rear mech it may have been subjected to some water ingress while washing it. If this doesn't work try e mailing the manufacturer to see if they can help. Sometimes removing batteries and reinserting doesn't solve the problem depending on whether or not the units are completely dried out or not - Happy troubleshooting
  16. Hard miles toDAy for me felt ok until the headwind climbs on the way back when I have to thank Paul for dragging me back on between Stewarton and Dunlop. Pace difficult to hold with the gusts but always a decent wee stopover at Moscow garden centre. Glad for it now although the legs tell me otherwise !
