Hello Ian and welocome to the 2nd friendliest club in Scotland ( have never met the #1) Not knowing how fit you are here is some stats on the 30 milers Clubrun normally between 12-16 mph but If were pushing ourselves this can go upto 18 mph Our mileage will also go up and sometimes we do around 65 miles Now the good part no-one ever gets left behind no matter what we've all had bad days on the bike :-) 9 times out of 10 we will have a cafe stop along the route The laughs start at the top of the first hill when everyone is laughing at me trying to get up it and mostly doesn't stop till the end of the run Hence the reason the 30 milers is the best bunch hope to see you soon Greig

i too have a windtex jacket i love it but unlike Charlie i wear a couple of layers underneath and regardless of how cold it is and im always cooking in it i cant seem to get it right might try bare chest next time best bit of jwcc kit i have Greig

Rumour has it that a '' main bunch rider '' will be coming out with the famous 30 milers ( his words not mine ) along with his daddy he's too scared to post himself incase he gets slagged See me? See happy? and they only clue i'm allowed to give is he rides a small orange give him pelters if you guess correctly

Bunch of 8 left Miller St , Heading towards Howwood then onto the track to Glengarnock up to and around the RNAD in Beith , Gateside down the Bowfield and back to base for a coffee and a slice of cake proving once again that we are the more sociable bunch Thanks to Elaine M for the route and cake at the end hope to see you all next week Well done to the 2 newbies aswell Greig

I'm with Billy on this other bunches gave up their run today to either support or participate but if you don't want to do either simply just go ride your bike without posting on the clubs page if your not bothered what the members are doing Greig
