Is it just me or is the UCI channel for tonight's cyclo-cross geo-blocked and not available in UK? Given Cookson is UCI heid bummer you would think he would be at least assuring the country of his birth could actually see the thing or is it just my pathetic computer skills?

Anybody getting ferry across on Saturday - if so what time?

Paul, Would be really happy to do this Paul,but Tuesday's & Thursdays are usually a no go for me. Stupid hours, stupid commute and stupid mutt all interfere. Hope you get the numbers.

Billy, Very keen to get out on a bunch run again but don't much fancy the route (also in current condition need bail out options). How about a Bagel Basket run with a lot of variations from the norm, harnessing the spirit of Robert Frost it will involve some roads less travelled. Personally would give it a miss..great for cyclocross but no real advantages for road performance though this may not be true for carbon rims. The comments regarding eliminating rim wear are valid and are the only real benefit that I can see but compatability issues may still exist i.e. thru axles and axle width I spent an absolute age tracking down a carbon cross frame with normal drop outs to allow me to run existing wheel sets. Another solution to a problem that does'nt exist in my book.

I'm struggling for time so will be out on either Sat or Sun but not for an all day run.

Was good to get out with a group again even though I was popped a fair few times, it is a cracking route even though I chopped the windmill farm section to drumclog out to save my legs. Excellent day. Caught some of the road race as I headed home via stewarton....looked mighty tough, with a fully committed Paul McDonald on the nose of the 2nd group on the road.

Will probably be at howwood in the morn.

Billy, I don't feel your pain, but would agree that the success rate of the rides calendar is woeful. I am happy enough to ride at the weekend but I will be toiling at the back. 9 o'clock at the clubrooms - you in Billy? As for the Erskine Bridge Wheelers ...away and boil your Pactimo shorts.
