  1. No problem, David. As nobody else has posted and there is conflict with a club confined event the run to Troon is cancelled. I will go out later anyway.

    Friday 11th

A good run. Miles go much quicker when you are with someone! Rain didn't come to much. Bowfield Neilston Craigton Road STewarton Kilwinning 48 miles. Legs tired at the end after yesterdays run. Len, thanks for keeping me going when my legs said otherwise!
  3. How far? what time? where to meet? I have pmed you my phone number
  4. Weather looking very good for tomorrow. Anyone for Brisbane Glen/BB/ Haylie Brae (or Fairlie Moor)? Meet at club 10:00 or other convenient location. RSVP

Usual route: Lugton, Dunlop, Stewarton kilmaurs, gateside dundonald. etc Cafe stop at Blueberry Cafe, Troon Return via Long Drive, Kilwinning, Cycle route 7 Who's in?

    Spied a Wheeler

A plethora of Wheelers this morning! Walking dog up track towards Kilbirnie and saw Mark O' on his way back from Irvine. Stopped for chat. 5 minutes later Billy and George thundering down the track - stopped for a quick chat.
  8. Middle bunch for me. Getting over a cold so will head up Hayley Brae after Largs.
  9. Hi, Graham, Only a couple of months away so we should have a 'logistics' meeting to thrash out details/get accommodation booked
  10. Iain C, What time you going out? I am also planning to go out this afternoon now that the ice has melted. 07703 121870
  11. Hi, Graham, I am interested. I am semi-retired now and don't work Thursday/Friday I won a CAMRA competition and had a free weekend at the Steam Packet Inn in Isle of Whithorn - nice area. Would we cycle down from Ayr? Club used to have an Ayr to Newton Stewart run a few years ago. It was a 100 mile round trip. Nice route.
  12. Snowing in LW at the moment!. If it freezes overnight I will have a problem to get out of the village. So may not be there. (Rule 5 does not apply to OAPs!)
  13. Hopefully. Middle group. Could be a bit icy early on!
  14. Yes - a really good run today. Stayed dry and 12 C - excellent. Good cafe stop and good chat After Chung parted company in Milngarvie we regained Campbell. Left McG at the bridge and then headed down GT road with me and Campbell doing a 2-Up into the wind. Left C at Crosslee then had the usual grind back to LW into the wind. TBH wind was not as bad as foreecast. Legs felt fine and 66 miles in the bank. Ritchie - you should have made the effort!

    Billy MacDonald

I will light a candle as well! Do we need to maintain a bedside vigil?
  16. Ritchie - i'll be passingLoch carpark 9:05 (ish).
  17. I just checked the mileage on mapmy ride. Club to club is about 73 miles + Lochwinnoch and back is a total of 86 for me which is way beyond my limit at the moment so will have to bail out somewhere. Probably just come straight back from Croftamie like I did with Allan M last year (March 29th). That was 65 miles LW to LW (and includes the queens view climb)
  18. I'll join you. If nobody else shows interest I could meet you at the bridge at 10:00 (saves me a couple of miles!).
  19. Well -- at least it didn't rain!! Darryl and me peeled off at Erskine Bridge. Bishopton, top half of Clune , The Wall (!) Kilmacolm for cafe stop. Bunch of Lomond Roads guys there and a few Couriers. Dave Cathcart was in there. Darryl - thanks for your patience and keeping me going! 48 miles. Met Andy D on track at Kilbarchan - hadn't checked forum for bunch run!
  20. Will be at Club 9:30 but not up to full route so will do same as Iain C. Will go as far as bridge and then peel of somewhere.
  21. Blast it! Just 4 weeks short of being an OAP!
  22. I'll be out for this but but may come back via Hayley Brae.
