Not really sure what happened. I felt the bike twitch then I was against a back wheel and down I went. Tyres are fine. I had been riding for an hour by that point so it has to be put down to rider error I'm afraid! Bike is a white Planetx Pro Carbon, 80mm carbon tubs with Powertap SL+ rear hub. Pretty good birthday present!! Tom

Wd40 discovered on rubber!! Heidi was seen checking insurance policies so I am checking food for non disclosed additives! Broke the end of my collar bone apparently. But should be ok in a few weeks. New bike was great though!! Now drinking birthday champagne so will worry about shoulder tomorrow! Cheers Tom

Sounds good Paul. I now have a small campervan so will be going down on the Saturday. It Will sleep two as it has a rock n roll bed and a raising roof bed. Plan to get a drive away awning style tent at some point which would make it good for four. Alan we could use this for Mull. Tom

Finally completed Accreditation 4 on Friday, despite the dreaded man flu surfacing. Looking forward to some track time but will be in France for two weeks, from next Saturday. Apart from the racing does anyone head up for the drop in sessions? I need to (greatly) reduce the effort to recovery ratio. I finished 3rd on the first elimination ride and then 2nd last on the next one in accred 4. Even allowing for my recent lack of ride time, it was a bit of a shock just how poor it was. Suggestions for some drills would also be appreciated. Thanks Tom

No2 done today. Really enjoyed it until 3 mins from the end when the guy trying to rejoin was not going fast enough and fell down the bank in front if me....... nowhere to go so performed my first somersault in the velodrome. Came down quite heavily with a few burns and bruises. Bring on number three! Tom
