Davie B Ian McG Paul Greg and myself enjoyed another cracking ride last night. The threatened rain stayed away. Jim D joined us later. Davie has clearly recovered from last weeks race as he was flying round the course. Very dark by 8.30pm so was able to test out my new cateye lights which I got at Dooleys for 1/2 price. They still have a few if any one interested.

Think we have the making of a bunch for 100 miler. Will check with missus to see if I can get a pass

Yip arrived at Westferry just after 6.30pm. Could not believe I was first. What a great feeling. Soon realised after a phone call to Ian that I was at the wrong venue. Anyway did my own time trial. No records broken. Thereafter took a wind assisted ride up to Georgetown where I met Ian who accompanied me to Bridge of Weir. C U all @ G/town next week

Third week in a row we had great weather. Jim D David Davie B Campbell Mark and myself headed off from Houston. Stevie joined us at Finlaystone. Jim and David were in spin mode but the rest of us were at full throttle. Me thinks Davie B and I will pay for this on Saturday unlike Billy Mac and Ian McGinty who are clearly tapering( got to get in early with excuses). On a serious note despite the clear sky it got awfy dark after 8.30pm. Lights will be needed for next week

Proposed accomodation is at www.casacundaro.com. £ 25 per head per night ( £ 75 ). Looks good to me. 3 rooms provisionally booked 4, 4 and 3. Do not think breakfast included but checking. Can I take it every one is happy and that I can confirm. Charlie

Hi all, I have been in touch with Steven McGregor of Macstrong tours( for those of you who do not know him google macstrong for details) and whilst he no longer does tours he will help us out with accomodation and get us a " decent quote " He hopes to join us on some of the runs. He has confirmed that the cannondale shop found by greg is the one to use. He knows the guy so can sort out bikes. I need to give Steven a note of final numbers. The definites I have noted are as follows. Great run last night. The weather gods were kind. myself Daryl Davie B Campbell Mark Logan Colin and Mark ( ex racing champ returning from injury ) set off on the same route as last week and which will probably be the same route as next week. ( blame Colin Howard ) Great effort by all on the night.

After last Sunday's all day epic how about a shorter spin to Moscow and back leaving club rooms at 9am.

Myself and three others have booked flights with Ryanair for the above dates. Leaving Thursday at 6am and returning Sun night at 10.00pm. Intention is to cycle all four days. George HincapieHill ,Salvador Dali's summer residence etc. Happy to increase the size of the bunch if anyone interested. Still to sort out accomodation but will wait a wee while till I know final numbers. Return flight just now is just under £50 but you have to add a booking and admin fee bringing it nearer to £70.
