  1. After success of last week Johnstone Bunch on again this week. Meet at bus stop on Georgetown road next to Crosslee O. Roll out at 6.45pm. Ride as bunch steady pace to Bishopton via Formakin. Then full pelt chaingang down to Port Glasgow. Climb Clune Brae. Regroup at top then chaingang to end of Georgetown road via Kilmacolm BOW and Houston. Only person dropped last week was Billy Mac. He did have the lurgy though but was daft enough to try and chase group down. Who in?

We cycle as a group to bishopton then do a chaingang down to Clune Brae climb the hill regroup then chaingang to the end of Georgetown road. 5 of us did it last week.Definitely a good workout. Hoping for more this Thursday. Will put up separate post

  6. Guys It would appear that once again we do not have the numbers to make this work. How about starting an alternative Renfra bunch. hey we could call it The Johnstone Bunch. Leave from Crosslee 0 medium pace to Bishopton then chain gang Renfra bunch circuit down to Clune Brae regroup at top then chaingang thru Kilmacolm etc to end of Georgetown Road. Roll out at 6.45pm. Who in ?
  7. Transmitter hill is just beyond Galston. trip approx 60miles. If you look at previous club run posts you will see the various routes we do. In the past we had a habit of always going to Largs

  10. Congratulations to Mr Yuille. Billy & I agreed to let him away first as we nearly froze to death waiting for him at the end of Drumlanrig. We forgot this was not our usual 100mile + race so did not rein him in. Anyway good to see Al is back on form both verbally and on the bike. He did as they say give as a good shooing though he was a tad light on the pre race bevvy. As for MacDonald he deserves all the abuse and I am looking forward to seeing Davy B's post. Cracking route and a great 2 days. Chapeau to Paul and Davy P
  11. proposing to leave about 10.30am. lodge is opposite killiecrankie visitor centre There is a sign for Old Faskally. 12. Iain depends when. Ramsay has mine just now but not sure how long he will be away for.
  13. On basis not enough interest for APR I up for usual hilly route. C U at bus stop off Crosslee O @ 6.30pm. agree with Davy that APR good fun for all but does require no's. On basis we are moving in to lighter nights how about 7pm roll out for APR next week. This would give us all a better chance of getting there on time. I will start another thread for APR to guage interest
