For 2018, and I know it is a bit earlier and I have done zero homework on flights etc, however I am going to suggest the girosardegna (sorry don't seem to be able to paste a link - help!?!). A 6 day sportive Race/Tour which gives you a timed stage every day and not finishing every day doesn't stop you riding the next day. The tour option is kind of get and ride your bike stuff. I was going to suggest Sardinia as a destination for 2018 in any case 'cos it is a fantastic island, however my neighbour mentioned this to me. Seems to be something for all abilities, so not just for the main bunch/racer types. Event is held in late April - weather is warm (18 - 20) deg, without being hot.
