2023 Subscriptions PaulL Posted September 5, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 5, 2016 Needing some company and lights for this... if anyone has a cross tandem we could go as a pantomime horse HalloX is back on the SCX calender, this year at an exciting Glasgow venue. A WEE race for 10-15 year olds and a BIG race for 16+ year olds. The RACE The event will take place in Nether Pollok, an adjacent park to Pollok Park. Just off Haggs Road, Southside of Glasgow. Fancy dress strongly encouraged, there will be a time penalty for racers not in fancy dress. The race will be in complete darkness, strong lights mandatory, no lights no race. There will be a few spooky surprises throughout the race, sense of humour essential! The WEE race will run for 20 minutes plus one lap, open to juniors aged 10-15 years old - the relevant age is as you come on the 29th October 2016. The BIG race will run for 55 minutes plus one lap, 16 years and over - the relevant age is as you come on the 29th October 2016. The PRIZES Equal prizes for male and female. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd senior male & female. Goodie bags for 1st, 2nd and 3rd under 12 and under 16 boys and girls. Best fancy dress prize Hole shot prize Best team support prize Spot prizes The (PROVISIONAL) TIMINGS WEE race course open for practise 4.15pm. WEE race 5.15pm start. BIG race course open for practise 6pm. BIG race 7.30pm start. Timings are subject to change. Exact timings will be communicated closer to the race date. The BIG ENTRY 150 entries for the coolest 'cross ghouls, available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Entry is £20 per rider. The event will be run Under the Rules and Regulations of TLI Cycling Ltd. Part of the entry fee £5 will go towards your TLI day membership. If you're a member of TLI (this is NOT the same as a British Cycling membership), great, you get to race for £15, if not, you will require the TLI day membership. Under 18s will receive a free day membership. Please do not provide fake TLI membership numbers in order to save £5. You will be found out, you will be taken off the entrants list and the rest of the Scottish Cyclocross organisers will be informed of your ways. The closing date for advance entries is the 22nd October 2016. There will be no entries on the day. Unfortunately no refunds will be given. The WEE ENTRY 50 entries for the scariest 'cross kids, available on a first-come-first-served basis. Entry is £5 per rider The event will be run Under the Rules and Regulations of TLI Cycling Ltd. Day membership for under 18 are free. Parents or guardians must fill out and bring a written day membership form accompanied by said parent or gaurdian at race sign on. The closing date for advance entries is the 22nd October 2016. There will be no entries on the day. Unfortunately no refunds will be given.
