70 -ish miles on the clock today in gorgeously sunny but cold conditions. Sore legs by the time I got up to Barcraigs, then downhill (mostly) home. Great day out.

Yeah great weather. Found the first 20 or so miles pretty tough as i was pushing quite hard trying to catch the bunch not realising i was ahead -  Was thankful of having a few wheels to follow after Gourock, i was sure i was going to be arriving in Largs just as everyone was leaving the bagel basket!

Great day indeed. Pretty cold to start but our new thermal jacket worked a treat.

I hadn't been over 40 miles since my last club run in Oct and as we turned towards Barrmill after Dalry, my left thigh went into the world's biggest cramp when I stood up and that was that. :smash

Paul had an issue as well so we limped home.

Fingers crossed for a nice day next Sunday 8-)

Sun & hardly any wind-who wooda thunk it?

Wee bit pedestrian going along to Largs, gents, pace should be steady, not dawdling.

Other than that it was a splendid day-it's great, this cycling lark :)
