2023 Subscriptions ginty001 Posted September 16, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 16, 2012 Myself and Davie T were the sole JWCC reps at Rothesey on day 1. I was buying my ticket for the 9.07 train from Bishopton to Wemyss bay at 9.04 when it turned up and took off before i could get myself and my bike over the bridge, so i waived David tata and txt him good luck for the hillclimb as i was now unlikely to make it in time for the morning event. I arrived just before Davie was setting off in the hillclimb where he set a fine time of 2 mins 20 odds, (David can confirm). We set off in the 21.7 mile hilly 2up TT at 2.06PM, and completed the course in 58.15 in what was quite a blustery day, but at least it stayed dry. We ended up in the top half of the field, just, placing 18th out of 39, although I reckon Davie would have been quicker on his own McGinty Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
