Tony
Hi Folks who is going out tomorrow and do any of the usual suspects have a route in mind? I can post route details if required, but will let the regulars have first shout. Thanks Tony
Brian Hickey
Cheers for posting Tony. I'm keeping an eye on the forecast and assuming it is not too miserable I'll get out - certainly keen to do so. As ever, I will be guided by your wheel.... 2023 Subscriptions GrahamF Posted December 3, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted December 3, 2011 Hi, I've got a new winter jacket to try out - so I reckon the weather is going to be just right! I opted for discretion last week, but this week I'm going for valour! 9:30 at the club rooms in Miller St. is the start time for the 30 milers. Don't mind what the route is, but would like a warm cafe at around half way. Graham.

Tony
I am very bad at introducing myself so I'm sorry if I didn't catch everyone's name today. Thanks for your company Here is a map of the route we did: http://www.andamento.co.uk/tony/Tracklo ... 20577.html ...a modest 36 miles (but in rain, sleet, hail and snow). I can also supply a GPX file of the route for anyone who is interested in that sort of thing. For info, there is a cafe at Dalgarven Mill which opens at 11am on Sundays all year round. We passed within half a mile of it. This was deliberate, because I thought that some might want to stop for a coffee. Personally I don't really do cafe stops (especially in cold weather) but I'm happy to share information like this, and also happy to see cyclists supporting small businesses etc. Anyway here is the link for anyone who is interested: http://www.dalgarvenmill.org.uk/
Stanley Accrington
Enjoyed it today though I was cold after getting wet - Great to see snow in the hills too! M
