  1. Bought early 2021 and used for a few months while waiting for new custom builds. Robust, firm ride; would make a good training/winter set. Shimano compatible hub. For use with rim brakes and clincher tyres (23-28mm). QR skewers included. £95. PM if interested, please. Thanks. Brian Hickey
  2. Hi Jann - I've paid via the BC site as suggested...and thanks for the discount code...Brian
  3. Hi Jann Apologies for being so late with this - saw some of the bunch last Sunday and it reminded me I hadn't paid my subs - just transferred payment to the bank details given above. Cheers Brian
  4. Jann Can you order me a Gilet (£35) size Large please..... Thanks Brian
  5. Chapeau to everyone who made it out today. I got ready then had to go out to the garage to get some lube and promptly reverted to a session on the trainer. Definitely a day for the Joansin hardcore….
  6. Thanks for posting Richie. I'm time constrained today so will stay closer to home otherwise I would have joined you and the rest of the Bunch. Hopefully see you next Sunday. Brian
  7. Perfect Tony - see you at 0915. Billy - you're quite right I probably should participate in the confined event but at this stage of the year and having been out very little during the winter I need miles in the legs. Iain - thanks for the supportive note and I agree with the sentiment : different people, different things.... Good luck to everyone taking part tomorrow....! Brian
  8. Good forecast for tomorrow (albeit windy/cold) so I'm planning on getting out for 40-50 miles and will be at Miller St for 0930. If any of the 30miler/Int bunch fancy joining in then post up ? Brian
  9. Hi Allan I'm interested if you still have this for sale. I'm not sure of sizing on these, but it will need to accommodate a 44" chest. If so then PM me and we can sort the details ?. Cheers Brian
  10. I plan on being at Miller St for 0900. I have some time constraints tomorrow so will peel off, probably at Largs, for a quicker return. Brian
  11. Assuming the weather isn't shocking then I plan on going out with the 0900 group again. Forecast is for fairly strong wind again so based on last week's experience it would be much more endurable in a bunch. Anyone else ? Brian
  12. Thanks for posting Mary. I'll join you unless it's very wet..... Cheers Brian
  13. For those who are interested and have'nt picked this up elsewhere - illuminating interview with Obree... http://www.cyclingnews.com/features/graeme-obree-tests-land-speed-record-vehicle
  14. I've paid Jann. Reference is B. Hickey. Cheers Brian
  15. I was at the bridge for 0925ish, waited 20mins then pressed on - presumably you were a bit earlier/later then anticipated. Was looking forward to the company but great day for a bike ride, regardless.... Brian
  16. Hi Chung I'd like to join this grupetto if I may - if you can give me an ETA for the north side of the bridge (0915 ?) I will see you there. Cheers Brian
  17. Planning to get out tomorrow after being otherwise occupied for the last 6 weeks or so. Track, Highfield, Auchentiber, Dunlop, Lugton, Braes (c45m) in the Garmin. 0915 at Miller St. If anyone would like to join me then please post (I may change time/route otherwise ?!). Brian
  18. I plan on being there tomorrow. B
  19. Fingers crossed the forecast improves over the next few days... B
  20. Thanks for posting Boyd. I'm elsewhere for the next few weekends so won't manage. Hopefully see everyone on the 3rd. Brian
  21. I took advantage of the better weather today (it was decidedly warm at one point...) so won't be out on Sunday. See you next week. Brian
  22. Tony - I'm hoping to be out but it will be Saturday before I know. Happy to tag along with the route of your choice.... B
  23. Thanks for posting, Tony. See you, and the rest of the Bunch, tomorrow. B
  24. Tony This may (?) qualify for a group awayday. Covers some of the ground I think your Ayr Century does but may be sufficiently different to be of interest... http://www.cyclosport.org/event/09-Jun- ... -bell.html Brian
  25. I plan on being out and since I missed the reliability runs this year, thought about the Moscow run or maybe a wee bit further http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/1787383 Happy to follow the majority though Brian
