I intend to go at a brisk pace, have no cafe stops and come back up the Hailey Brae. I could swing by Johnstone at 8:45 if anyone is keen to join me. The hard miles along the coast were felt going up the Haylie - never found it so tough before and after suffering a bit of cramp I just left Ramsay to it and rolled home. Bunch of 5 single lined it from Bridge of Weir to Largs - the pace certainly kept us warm. Ramsay and Davie had to adjourn at Largs where David T, Jim D and I continued in same vein to W Kilbride then Kilbirnie. Cracking morning - not big miles but quality ones.
