Committee Alan McLean Posted January 3, 2010 Committee Report Share Posted January 3, 2010 A great day out today. Main problem was avoiding ice hockey pucks but got a great PB on the local 1k course. (usually used by Castle Semple Rowing Club). http://connect.garmin.com/activity/21596668 http://www.flickr.com/photos/24303373@N03/4240642725/ Big hand to Ramsay Muirhead whom we met at the top of the Muirshiel road having powered up to the mine through crusty snow on his MTB. Get out there. A

Administrators Jannza Posted January 4, 2010 Administrators Report Share Posted January 4, 2010 Great photo! ) Have to ask - did you cycle to Lochwinnoch with your trousers rollled up and in those shoes?
2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted January 4, 2010 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted January 4, 2010 Wasn't sure you were serious about riding on the loch when I met you at Muirshiel, but...... Good photos. I had a great day out on the mountain bike. 3.5hours on the bike and half an hour of walking/pushing/carrying the last bit to the mines. Longest I have been on a bike since the middle of July!! We had better get used to this ice biking, as I hear the cold is to stay with us until the end of Jan!! Committee Alan McLean Posted January 4, 2010 Author Committee Report Share Posted January 4, 2010 Jannza I drove to LW in a big, comfy car. Only Ramsay was tough enough to actually bike it. A
Frank
Alan, Being exposed to extreme heat or cold can impair judgement. Obviously a case of the latter here. Much madness. That has to be hammock-attracting behaviour! Frank
