Neil Macdougall
I need to learn to read properly. I thought it was 9:30 for the Thirty Miler Ended up getting a tow at the back of the 9:30 bunch down to Glengarnock and cutting round the back end of the RNAD and back home via Lugton etc. Cheers to the guys in the later bunch for the tow down to Glengarnock. Should hopefully make it for 9:00 next weekend work permitting

KennyS
Five out for the first of this autumn's thirty milers. KennyS, Charlie, Billy Mac Iain M and new face Johnny Cosh (Not to be confused with Johnny Mellow although he did seem to be fairly mellow all the way round) Down the track to Glengarnock, Over and round the back of the Barrmill circuit before cutting across to Gateside, Geenacres and back down the newly re-surfaced Bowfield Some dispute, from those who should know better, on where the sprint finished after they were left eating dust only for all to be brought to a hault by the traffic lights at Spateston. Only one puncture (Charlie), which was inevitable after all the talk of gear, wheel and tyre combinations. No probs, the rest of us just stood around at the top of teh drag out of Gateside enjoying the brilliant sunshine. BillyMac sickened us all with details of his planned charity ride which starts tomorrow from Dunkirk to Marseille with a sprint up the Ventoux to finish. Good Luck, Billy. You'll look great in that new JWCC bandana (Only a few left folks ) First time over this distance for both Iain and Johnny. Both seem keen to be back for more next week. Stay tuned
