Frank
Guys, Just wanted to confirm that next APR ride is at Gateside on the restricted time trial course, unless I've got it wrong. Is anyone riding over to the course? Frank
2024 Subscriptions Darryl Gunson Posted May 20, 2009 2024 Subscriptions Report Share Posted May 20, 2009 Frank Great minds and all that... Simultaneously posted another thread about this. That's my understanding of it. I'll be cycling over form my house. I could meet you somewhere if you want, say, bottom of Bowfield at 6.15? Cheers Darryl

2024 Subscriptions Darryl Gunson Posted May 21, 2009 2024 Subscriptions Report Share Posted May 21, 2009 Any chance of a map? Cheers Hi Kenny No map, but very easy directions. You know where the Robertson Carpark is yes? Carry on along the road towards Lugton - right to the very end T junction. Turn right. Carry on until you get to Gateside Village. Hall is on the RHS opposite the pub. See you there. Darryl
KennyS
Map of the circuit on the following link http://www.mapmyride.com/route/gb/north ... 0483844268 Parking is generally available in the village outside the Gateside Inn or opposite near the village hall Won't make it tonight. KennyS
Quickest way for you in the car Kenny is the dual carriageway from St James out by Johnstone and Howwod until you get to Beith where you turn left onto the B777. Gateside is a couple of minutes along the B777

Kenny Christie
It was hard work tonite. A fast pace throughout The first group consisted of Claire, Kenny Mac, Greg, Billy, and Kev. I think that was all. (sorry if I missed anyone out) The second group was Darryl, Frank the Tank, James and myself. Kenny Mac punctured early which was followed by Darryl puncturing, again! For the 2nd week running, rotten luck. James cramped up so it was Frank and me with him knocking it into me all the way round We caught up with Billy, then Kev but Greg and Claire stayed away. We met up with Darryl for the finish, fast approach me going for it too early, Darryl dissapearing into the sunset and Frank the Tank steamrollering me in a frantic uphill finish! Great stuff more of the same next week
