Administrators Jannza Posted December 1, 2008 Administrators Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 Does anyone have any recommendations for overshoes? Saw the Endura Luminite or are neoprene ones better? Roadworks on my route to work for next 3-4 weeks so I'd be much quicker cycling to work if the cold doesn't get me. 2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted December 1, 2008 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 Jan I can recommend the neoprene, they're the best overshoes I've used. Can't comment on the luminite as not used them. cheers PMcD
KennyS
I also have the neoprene version. Well worth the £20 Following the Braveheart ride I have also learned to put my bibtights over my overshoes as per the manufacturers instructions Common sense when you think about it (unless you have loops on the bottom of your tights )

simon simpson
I'm a fan of the Goretex race: (race power?) slightly insulated and they fit over mountain bike shoes; The gore commuter ones are good too Try evans online for last seasons Gore wear If I was adding to my collection I'd be tempted by the Endura shiny neoprene ones. If you get the Pro-vision aqua repel model bear in mind that its the outer sales packaging that repels the aqua- not the actual overshoe 2 pairs of overshoes with a poly bag between them might be good too... ss
