With Georgetown road not available for series

we require to move to alternative venue.

Te APR circuit is not suitable for TT bikes therefore the proposed alternative is :- Gateside whisky bond circuit which has been used for APR s in past .

Route :-

start just past junction leading to whisky bond

proceed south to turn left onto A736

head east to turn left at Canny man ( parrafin lamp)

proceed to finish at 30mph sign at Gateside village approx 6.7miles

comments ??

a wee multi map thingy anyone

Circuit has got one hill and rest is rolling and suitable for TT bikes.

Chocolate series was moved to June at request of riders , as July is holiday season for a lot of the TT guys

Chocolate series starts this Tuesday night at Gateside ( Chivas circuit) 7:15pm first man off .

Start is juction leading toward whisky bond ( 1 mile from Gateside village heading toward Lugton)

Finish is 30mph sign at gateside village

Car parking usually available at Gateside village hall.

Greg

yes it's just round that corner where the Balgray Bond sigh is. Here's the course:

Probably the best way to cycle there from Johnstone is to head out Beith Rd and go up the Bowfield climb, passing the reservoir on your left, then take the next turning on the right (just at that very sharp left-hand bend where Mike was marshalling last Saturday). Then turn right when you reach the Lugton-Beith Rd, and you will see the whisky-bond sign after a mile or so.

Hope to see you there

Tony
