I’d be coming from elderslie Gerard so I’d be happy enough 9.45 at any point along the route. I’ll probably head along the Georgetown road.

Having missed out on all the reliability rides through illness or work I’m calling all mid week hero’s/slackers for a Tuesday burl round to Largs and home via Haylie Brae. Relaxed on start time - happy to let the sun come up and deal with potential ice before leaving.

Goal for this summer is to finish one of these rides!

If I continue to feel better I hope to make the 9.30 group.

Its probably a shout get the bikes insurance sorted prior to binning it at some race! Any recommendations? Was looking at a few companies but 350-400 quid seems steep.

So the second hand bars I've picked up that are allegedly 44cm and the exact same size as the 40s I've got on the cervelo! Will stick them in and see anyway.

Cheers guys - There is a lot to be said for wide bars aiding stability. Picking up a brand new set of Ritchy Pro logic IIs in 44 so I'll see how they are - If they are rubbish I'll just punt them on.
